The Challenge and the Result
The Challenge
This was a refit, so new systems went into an existing vessel. The work covered navigation, communications, satellite TV, cameras and networking, and each had to fit with the equipment already aboard.
The Result
Poor Richard now has Garmin navigation and communication with displays and two radars. A KVH TracVision UHD7 brings satellite TV aboard. Garmin and Axis cameras add visibility around the vessel. Peplink routers manage the vessel's internet connections, and Ubiquiti provides the onboard network.
